Who are they?

Goals is a successful and established operator of small sided football clubs across the UK. Established in 2000 and based from an East Kilbride headquarters, Goals now operate 46 FA affiliated clubs across the UK, along with two clubs in the USA, and employ over 700 people.

Goals’ significant growth meant that the company had outgrown their business management solution, Sage 50 Accounts. Sage 50 had become slow due to the number of transactions being processed, causing regular problems and inefficiencies within the business.

The number of users on the system was also causing a problem with speed and it was becoming increasingly difficult to analyse data quickly. As the company grew, Sage 50 began to have major performance issues including corruption.

Sage 50 has limited scope for customisation and could not be integrated with Goals’ purchase order system. This meant that purchase orders had to be re-entered into Sage 50 separately, doubling data entry time and increasing the opportunity for error.

Following thorough consultation with Eureka Solutions, Goals opted to implement Sage 200, an integrated business management solution for medium-sized businesses. Sage 200 is the ideal upgrade for companies finding that they have outgrown Sage 50.

Given Eureka Solutions’ extensive Sage 200 product knowledge and technical expertise, Goals understood we were capable of providing them with a solution to meet their unique requirements.

Along with the upgrade to Sage 200 Goals also took advantage of our bespoke development capabilities and several of our Addons products including Data Exchange and Fixed Assets, to ensure they got the most out of the Sage 200 system.

Following the upgrade to Sage 200, our bespoke development and Addons products, Goals now benefit from a modern, integrated business management solution which can grow with the company.

Our migration process from Sage 50 to Sage 200 ensured Goals lost none of their data. The Sage 200 system is also designed to manage high volumes of multi-currency transactions, supporting the company’s foreign expansion.

Goals’ purchase order system is now fully integrated with their accountancy system thanks to our Data Exchange Addon, which has eliminated data entry errors caused by manual replication, increasing efficiency within the organisation.

Sage 200 offers quick and easy access to report and analyse business performance with custom reporting available allowing Goals to produce detailed financial reports and forecasting.
